Our April EITC Giving – Parkway West CTC

In April, I traveled over to western PA to meet up with George and Natalie so we could visit Parkway West Career & Technology Center for another one of our big check presentations. This time, we donated a total of $35,000 to the school. While most of this will be allocated for student scholarships, some will also be used to cover the cost of equipment, certificates, and other needed supplies. They had a few very kind words to share about our ongoing partnership, and we’re happy to have been able to contribute!

“Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation has continued to support Parkway West Career and Technology (CTC) students through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. This program has resulted in $35,000 in funding to financially support our students with scholarships and the purchase of uniforms, certifications, and student membership fees.

Cabot has been contributing SO (scholarship) funds to Parkway West CTC since 2019, and for the 2020-2021 school year, they also began utilizing EIO funds to provide capital equipment for Parkway West CTC Career Programs. This generous donation has resulted in improved classroom equipment, which will ultimately help our students to be more equipped and prepared to enter into the workforce following graduation.”
