We’re officially full-swing into the holiday season; Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday & Giving Tuesday have all come and gone and the New Year’s Eve will be here before we know it. Get into the holiday spirit this weekend with Christmas in Montrose in the heart of Susquehanna County.
Founded three years ago, Christmas in Montrose starts this Friday, concludes on Sunday and features over a dozen local events: church bazaars and craft fairs, Holiday Zumba, FREE pictures with Santa, a Christmas Concert Chorale, giant chocolate Santa roll, FREE children’s movies and a Christmas tree lighting ceremony, just to name a few.
Plus, visitors to the town have a chance to win $100 by filling their Passport with stamps from participating businesses around town. Who couldn’t use some extra spending money for the holidays?
You’ll see a few Cabot employees around town participating in events like the Jingle Bell Fun Run. And Cabot is proud to once again sponsor the free pictures with Santa on the community stage from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Be sure to stop by and say hello!
