Meet Cathy Robinson, a Field Clerk for Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation and a native of Bradford County, Pennsylvania’s endless mountains. She has lived in Wyoming County for the past 25 years. Cathy has worked in the natural gas industry for three years after noticing the growing importance of Marcellus Shale in her area and taking a job with Cabot.Three years later, Cathy still “loves working for the company” and enjoys the relationships with her colleagues in the office, especially “the enormous appreciation and respect they give.” Today, we’ll talk to Cathy about her work with Cabot.Q: What is your background in the industry? I have administrative and accounts payable experience along with customer service. Before coming to Cabot, I spent 17 years in the banking industry. Q: What are some of your job duties at Cabot? As a field clerk, I get to work with a lot of people and do a lot of different things. One day I can be the Office Clerk handling the duties involved with the daily operations, or work with Human Resources with all of the new hires and present employees. On a daily basis I handle accounts payable. I also work with pipe yard inventory control and occasionally landowner resolutions. Q: What is your favorite part about working at Cabot?Every day I can learn something new. I like my duties and enjoy working for our Cabot family.Q: Anything else we should know about you or about your work with Cabot? I really encourage families and their children to acknowledge the endless possibilities of growing up and learning the gas trades. The industry will be here for a long time. Thanks, Cathy!
