We are thrilled to announce a major change in our company! As of Friday, October 1st, the merger between Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation and Cimarex Energy Co. has closed. This resulted in our two companies coming together to form the new E&P company, Coterra Energy.

Coterra combines two organizations full of amazing people with decades of experience in our industry. Our senior leadership team and Board of Directors will now be made up of members of each legacy company, bringing a level of expertise, perspectives, and industry knowledge that is unparalleled. Under their leadership, we will continue to focus on operating accountably, sustainably and safely.

This strategic move has put us in a great position for the next phase of the shale revolution. We now have over 700,000 net acres spread across the Marcellus, Permian, and Anadarko basins, giving us access to some of the best natural gas and oil assets in the country.

Prior to working with Coterra Energy, George held numerous public policy, public relations, and governmental affairs positions in both Pennsylvania and Maryland. George graduated from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania with a degree in Political Science.
