When Cimarex and Cabot joined forces to become Coterra Energy last fall, we not only combined portfolios and technologies to deliver strong results, but also adopted the best programs available to enhance the human element of our operations. Engaging and supporting the employees at Coterra are top of mind for Chris Clason, Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer, and he, along with the rest of the leadership team, strives to achieve this each day.

Coterra has been and continues to take active steps to increase the quality of employee engagement both in the office and at home. In a blog post published earlier this year, we outlined the ongoing renovations happening at our Houston headquarters and the new amenities available to employees at the Memorial City Plaza location. These new features will include a fitness center, conference center, meeting rooms, and air-conditioned skywalks to connect each of the buildings for easy, and comfortable, access for employees.

“We could have moved anywhere in Houston, but our employees love this location and are excited about the plans for the reimagined complex and Coterra offices,” said Clason.

While the renovations are working to make office life in the Houston area more comfortable, Coterra is also working to make work-life integration a reality for employees across our footprint. Alternative work schedules for eligible employees, competitive paid vacation time, and flexible sick time are just a few ways Coterra is enabling a healthy work-life balance. Educational resources for employees via an education reimbursement program and scholarship opportunities for dependent children allow the Coterra workforce a chance at career advancement and generational growth.

While Coterra continues to build a strong workforce, we also recognize the importance of building a family. With 12 weeks of paid time off, and an additional four weeks of paid time off or cash equivalent, Coterra’s parental leave policy encourages families to take the time they need to bond with a new family member prior to returning to the workforce.

Employees are also supported with programs to help protect their personal and financial health and well-being. Coterra supports the health and welfare of individuals and families across our operating region with competitive compensation packages, retirement plans, insurance policies, and much more! Coterra Energy is actively seeking dedicated individuals to join our team.
