In recognition of October being Energy Awareness Month, we encourage you to be aware of your energy use and remain conscious about conservation. Many natural gas utility companies offer rebates –  to help you save money and conserve energy in the process. 

Pennsylvania residents should visit their natural gas utility companies for incentives (see links below). For more information on national programs and references for other states, visit the United States Department of Energy.

Pennsylvania Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EE&C) Programs:

Voluntary Natural Gas EE&C Programs – Link to the page that provides information on how natural gas companies that are not subject to the requirements of Act 129 of 2008 help customers reduce their natural gas usage, save money and increase home comfort.

Natural Gas Companies that offer EE&C Rebate and Savings Incentives

Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania – Audit & Rebate Program available to Columbia Gas income qualified customers.

Leatherstocking Gas Company – Hot Water Heater Rebate Program available to Leatherstocking Gas customers.

PECO Gas – Rebate Program available only to PECO natural gas customers in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and parts of York county.

Philadelphia Gas Works – Savings, Rebates and Incentives available to Philadelphia Gas Works customers.

UGI Utilities – Rebates and Programs available to UGI Gas and UGI Penn Natural Gas (UGI-PNG) customers. UGI Central Penn Gas (UGI-CPG) customers are not yet eligible for these rebates.
