Exciting News at Cabot Oil & Gas

Certainly, this is an important quality to those who need energy and want to be energy independent, but what about something bigger for the county?  Cabot also makes strides everyday toward economic development and community sustainability.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]If you didn’t watch the news yesterday, (shame on you,) you missed an exciting announcement regarding the partnership of Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation and the Endless Mountain Hospital project in Montrose, Pennsylvania.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]In January, Endless Mountains Health Systems broke ground on a much-needed 25-bed hospital. Cabot stepped in when we heard that the Hospital was looking to build a Physicians Clinic to supplement the hospital and to further aid the community.  This video takes us back to the hospital’s groundbreaking in January, 2012.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Cabot announced yesterday that we’ve reached 70 percent of our $3 million goal to help fund the hospital’s $5.6 million Physician’s Clinic. If you remember, we donated $1 million in January, 2012 toward the Clinic. Since then, we’ve established The Cabot Endless Mountains Health Systems Community Match Fund and have raised more than $700,000 from Cabot contractors, community members and the private sector.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_single_image image=”627″ border_color=”” img_link_large=”” link=”” img_link_target=”” img_size=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row animation=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]In addition to the establishment of a Match Fund program, Cabot has influenced other donors to sponsor the cause, outside of the match program. William serves as an External Affairs Coordinator for Coterra Energy. He is focused on building community knowledge and support for our organization and industry. Before his time with Coterra, William was the original field director for Energy in Depth’s Northeast Marcellus campaign. In this capacity for two years, William worked to engage, educate and mobilize supporters of Marcellus Shale development across New York and Pennsylvania. William desRosiers received his B.S. in Management, B.A.in History and MBA from Misericordia University.
