We caught up with Magna’s CEO, Michele Richardson, who with the help of interns tweets for the company. She gave us some background on Magna-Solutions LLC.
Formed in 2011, Magna-Solutions designs, manufacturers and carries flame resistant clothing and accessories for the oil and gas industries. Catering to small, medium and large energy companies, Magna provides FR safety gear and accessories manufacturing domestically and abroad. Shipping to all rig sites throughout the US and international waters.
Magna offers FR apparel and accessories that are made in the USA as well as abroad, which allows us to offer a wide array of FR products as well as the fastest shipping and delivery times. We pride ourselves on our customer service, which has opened up at 10 p.m., and 4 a.m. to satisfy the customer’s needs that the gas industry demands. We have opened on holidays and helped process orders with door-to-door, service to ensure client satisfaction.
Please tell us a little bit about your Magna FR brand.
Magna designs our own brand of exclusive FR apparel (Magna FR) which is fully customizable (design, colors, embroidery, logos, etc) and meets the needs for the men and women of today’s energy industries.
We provide 13 brands of FR apparel and accessories for customers to select from ensuring there is something to meet everyone’s needs.
How does Magna work together with the oil and gas industry?
Magna provides custom FR Clothing and accessories to meet the unique safety needs of each client. Magna sales staff is SafeLand/TRAP certified and can visit active rig sites to ensure our clients receive the best products available.
What are some of your most popular products?
We generally have two seasons with FR clothing, summer and winter. Our best selling items really are determined by the weather outside, as that is where the majority of our clients work daily.
Magna sells an FR Control knit top, with new FR Fiber technology that wicks away perspiration and cools down the body in the hot summer months, while in the winter the fibers trap heat in to warm the body.
Impact gloves- Magna manufactures the lowest-priced impact glove in the US, and we ship to clients nationally and internationally.
FR Coveralls with reflective tape- Magna offers a wide array of popular colors. We have the standard, royal blue and navy and khaki but also stock light grey and red and dark grey.

Magna FR is co-owned and operated by cousins, Michele Richardson and Andrea Franzen.
Magna’s CEO, Michele Richardson came from the fashion world in New York City, designing men’s clothing for ten years in the top fashion labels around the world. Jay Franzen, the COO, was already working in the supply sector of the gas industry; they came together to collaborate with his wife, Andrea and Michele’s husband, Christian to create Magna-Solutions in late 2010.
