#FF @PAEnergyGames to learn about the brand new event that is all about having fun while learning about energy.
We spoke with Todd Stager, Office Director at Pennoni Associates Inc. who told us about the PA Energy Games.
The PA Energy Games is an all-day, free family-friendly festival that showcases homegrown energy production and delivery.
Participants/sponsors represent various energy sources, such as coal, oil, natural gas, nuclear, hydro, solar, wind, bio; as well as many support industries and local and regional business.
The primary goal of the festival is community outreach and education through exhibits, product displays and demonstrations; to create better energy awareness among Pennsylvanians.
This fun, exciting and enriching event also includes competitions, a truck show, children’s games and educational activities, carnival foods, live music all day —  including a country music concert by Clay Walker with special guests Chris Higbee, Morgan Myles and The Oilfield Cowboy. What role does Twitter have for @PaEnergyGames?

Pa Energy Games’ twitter account is primarily used as a support mechanism for the ongoing marketing campaign and to amplify information on our website.  It is targeted to both the energy industry and the general public as a means of connecting with both.
Why was the PA Energy Games created?

PA Energy Games aims to provide people with a better understanding of where energy is produced in the commonwealth, the vital role it plays in our daily lives and how we can use it wisely.
The Pa Energy Games festival as well as the twitter account is fun and exciting way for the average person to better understand where their “energy” comes from; and who the people are (their PA neighbors) who work hard every day to bring it into to homes, offices, automobiles, appliances, etc…
