This week’s #FF is @ShaleDaily.Shale Daily is the premier one-stop news and information source covering shale energy in North America. As the name indicates, Shale Daily is a daily (Monday through Friday) online news service aimed at professionals concerned with shale energy–energy producers, natural gas traders, government officials, supply chain companies–really anyone who needs to know what’s happening with the shale “revolution.”
We spoke with NGI’s Marketing Consultant, James Willis who told us all there is to know about Shale Daily.
Are you the only person that tweets?
The Shale Daily twitter account, @ShaleDaily, primarily redistributes the headlines from our latest news stories with links back to those stories. We find some people like a daily email, some like to monitor news via Twitter, some via Facebook, and some like to get it on LinkedIn. Shale Daily headlines are available in all of those venues. Since Shale Daily stories are written by a variety of professional editors, you can say that there are more than a dozen people who contribute to the @ShaleDaily Twitter feed on a regular basis.
What is a fun fact about Shale Daily?
Shale Daily was the first, and so far still the only, daily news publication totally dedicated to the topic of shale energy in North America.
 What do you think is the most interesting aspect of @ShaleDaily?    
The shale “issue” has exploded into the consciousness of many people with diverse backgrounds and interests from around the world. That’s reflected by the number and variety of people who follow the @ShaleDaily Twitter account.
What is @ShaleDaily doing to stay current with all the industry news?We have a full slate of a dozen reporters and analysts on staff that daily scour the news, attend conferences, and interview the people who make the news. In fact, Shale Daily doesn’t just stay current with industry news, we report and analyze it! We chronicle the news that others rely on.
