Early detection can reduce the risk of dying from breast cancer by up to 20% – so it’s up to all of us to educate ourselves and to help make our friends and family aware.
As we highlighted last week, Cabot has joined with several organizations to help provide FREE clinical breast exams for women in the month of October. The Women Helping Women fund is designed to help women (and men) realize the importance of early detection in the fight against breast cancer.

And to think, this entire movement started with a 300 pound, hot pink drill bit used on one of our locations. This summer we took footage to create a short video that emphasizes the significant impact early detection can have. Here’s the video featuring the Baker Hughes bit and the guys decked out in pink.

Once again – we’re asking for your help to fill all of the appointment slots this month at Endless Mountains Health Systems. Tell a friend, share with a coworker, send a link to your family.

Baker Hughes has placed a shorter, 30 second version of the video in television markets across the country. Click here to check it out  …and keep your eyes open, it will be coming to a television near you in northeastern Pennsylvania shortly!
