Senator Gene Yaw represents the 23rd Senatorial District has for the past few years has been highlighting positive economic stories on his website. For his latest video, he took time to visit Susquehanna County to get a firsthand look at the positive economic impacts in the area.

The video highlights the opportunities around the town of Montrose, Pa. including Montrose Area High School which is seeing savings thanks to switching to natural gas for heating needs, Endless Mountains Health System which benefits from burning natural gas and from a campaign spearheaded by the industry to build a new facility, and local charity TREHAB which is able to put the funds once used for home heating fuel back into its charitable budget.

As you can imagine, there are numerous stories about how the natural gas industry has provided new opportunities in the area – and the full length video is almost 30 minutes long to cover just a fraction of them!
