As we’ve talked about frequently here (and here, and here), the campaign got a kick-start when Cabot made a leadership gift of $1 million and then established the Cabot/EMHS Community Match Fund to help raise additional funding. The community really came together and at the end of four months, $4.4 million had been raised for the new hospital building.
If you haven’t already heard, the brand new hospital is scheduled to open this month!
And, the hospital even hosted an open house for the community this past weekend. You can read about it over at the Susquehanna Independent or watch the segment from WNEP.
