This week Cabot will host our Community Picnic on July 20th at the Harford Fair Grounds. This premier event has served as our number one way to promote our employees, our contractors and our industry. It has allowed us the opportunity to have local residents learn firsthand about the environmental practices that are paramount to our operations. It has also focused attention on the skills and experience of those engaged in the industry. I believe it has helped to educate more than the 15,000 people that have attended the event. It has been a hallmark of our industry in NEPA and serves as an open and honest discussion of how and to what extents our industry strives to surpass regulations and expectations.
However, we are not one to rest on our laurels; Cabot has also actively engaged in additional forms of outreach and education. From our advertisement in the Mulligan’s Pennysaver, to speaking at local rotaries clubs, we constantly strive to get factual information out to our neighbors and landowners.
To help further our outreach and educational efforts, Cabot has partnered with WNEP TV and is actively sponsoring their Power to Save Segment.  We believe this venue allows us to increase the reach of our message and allows us to showcase the benefits of the Natural Gas Industry, Also, it allows us to highlight our partners and positive impacts on the community and the environment.
