Welcome to Video Tuesdays, a space on our blog to reflect on videos that have documented the success of Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation over the past few years and celebrate the advances we’re making in both the oil and gas industry as well as the community that we serve.
This Tuesday, we’ll look at a video that highlights one of the many ways that Cabot gives back to the community. Today’s video, which can be found on our YouTube channel, shares the stories of Susquehanna County Career and Technology Center students impacted by a $50,000 donation from Cabot.

We know that the oil and gas industry provides jobs and we hope that local youth will ultimately fill those positions, so we wanted to use our resources to build upon this idea.
Last week, Cabot participated in SCCTC’s Challenge Program Senior Awards Ceremony where four students were awarded $250 each to start their careers and pay for supplies. The awards are intended to celebrate dedicated students in a variety of education-related categories including attendance, academic excellence, academic improvement and community service. Be sure to read tomorrow’s Drilling Down post for a brief recap and a closer look at Cabot’s social responsibility.
