Today’s post and photos contributed by Patti L. Dudock.Last Saturday, a benefit was held at Endless Mountains Archery in Forest Lake, Pennsylvania to support the Soldiers’ Angels Foundation. The motto of this non-profit organizations is “May No Soldier Go Unloved”.The day started with a challenging five-mile dirt road course.  There was also a one mile course for those who wanted to walk. A full day of activities for the outdoor enthusiasts with all day archery shooting in an indoor range and a beautifully set up outdoor trail range. With plenty of good food, drinks, door prizes and raffles.  Cabot helped to make this day a success not only with a monetary donation but they gifted beautiful thermo bags to present to people who came and to be filled with items that were raffled off.Staff Sargent Fissler was injured when his Hummer was driven over a anti tank mine. This explosion left several injured  while conducting combat logistical patrol. Fissler still serving in the United States Army Reserves ran a challenging dirt road course at the first annual Soldiers’ Angels benefit held in Forest Lake, Pennsylvania.  What an honor to see runners and walkers start off the race by Fissler who is a Purple Heart Combat decorated Soldier.A big thank you to Sgt. Fissler, Endless Mountains Archery, Cabot and everyone that help make this day a success. To see more photos from the event, please visit Patti’s website, PD Photos.
