For this week’s Throwback Thursday, we’ve dug up some old riddles from Cabot’s newsletter, The Flame! Riddles are a good way to break up the monotony of the everyday and force ourselves to think in new, sometimes crazy ways. Below, we have typed out a few of the best ones for you to try. These riddles come from our July 1955 issue. I have no doubt that it was meant to get the employees sitting down and sharing these with one another. The riddle’s original authors would be shocked to find out that over 60 years later, people still laugh at and try to solve their work.
