Welcome to Video Tuesdays, a space on our blog to reflect on videos that have documented the success of Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation over the past few years and celebrate the advances we’re making in both the oil and gas industry as well as the community that we serve.
This Tuesday, our video details the construction of a typical Cabot wellpad in North Eastern Pennsylvania. Watch as the site journeys from a flat piece of land to a well that produces natural gas to heat homes, fuels vehicles and powers stores and businesses.

Cabot minimizes surface-level disturbance by strategically reinforcing the well for the best economical gain and least environmental impact.
Once a well pad is producing natural gas, we are committed to reducing its environmental impact through careful and extensive land restoration procedures. We regrade the site and plant new seed so the area becomes green and can be reclaimed by nature.
